Hello !So today I wanted to talk about the Gillette Venus "Use Your And " campaign .
Although there has been a few points made against the campaign. As it was brought to us by a company who's ultimate aim is to get us to shave our legs, I still think the campaign is an important one. It doesn't matter who has said something inspirational or thought provoking, it matters that it's been said :) If you haven't seen the video I'll put it here :

This is all about not limiting your potential because of one dimensional labels. A few YouTubers did some really inspirational videos about how they use their 'And' ! A few of my favourites were Carries from It'sWayPastMyBedtime which you can find here and Louise's from SprinkeofGlitter which you can find here :)
So I thought I'd share some of my 'Ands' , I am ;
- loyal, and
- shy, and
- confident, and
- happy, and
- a singer, and
- a drummer, and
- an actress, and
- hard-working, and
- calm, and
- argumentative, and
- loving, and
- pretty bad at spelling, and
- a blogger, and
- compassionate, and
- a girlfriend, and
- independent, and
- strong, and
- intelligent, and
- empathetic, and
- creative, and
- positive, and
- so, so much more, and
- SO ARE YOU .
I really hope, that you will start to realise and understand that you don't have to be just one thing and you are not and never will be just one thing :) We are all so wonderfully complex, how can there be anything simply black and white in anything we do or are ? But that's what makes us all so beautiful, we're all different, with a different set of 'Ands' ! Meanwhile there's only two shades of black and white ( no matter what the paint company's insist haha ) and despite black and white pulling together to make a pretty classy outfit or an atmospheric photo ; they're not that much fun to see over and over again in everyone we meet !
