Things To Give...Mum ( Gift Guide )

This week I'm going to be posting everyday with a mini Christmas Gift guide series. I've always enjoyed flicking through the Gift Guide sections of magazines to find inspiration. So each post this week I'm going to share 3 gift ideas in different price ranges for a different person in your life . Today I thought I'd share a few of the gifts I've found that would be perfect to get for your mum !

Laura Ashley Ultimate Indulgence - £40 - Boots.com

This Boots, Laura Ashley set is £40 but recently was in the sale for only £20 which was an amazing deal. This gift is perfect for any mums who deserve to feel pampered or are moving house or redecorating and need a nice little set to get them started. This lovely set has a candle, a soap dish, soap, a soap, soap dispencer, hand cream, body wash, body lotion and bath soak. Essentially, your bathroom will be stocked up for the year with brilliant quality, gorgeous smelling goodies if you have this !

12 Christmas Votive House - £24.99 at YankeeCandles.co.uk

Yankee Candles make the most beautifully scented candles and they're Christmas collection smells so good that you want to eat them ( Please don't actually eat them... that would be bad ). This set is brilliant when you simply can't pick which candle you want or you just want to try them all out . And with scents like Christmas Cookie and Cosy By The Fire, why wouldn't you want to try them all ?
Nutshell Purse - £22.99-Aspire Style

Aspire Style is a wonderful, quirky little shop that sells the loveliest little vintage style items! From sweet pieces of jewellery to 50's style dresses :) I absolutely love this purse I think it's such a sweet little message " See a penny, pick it up. Then all day you'll have good look" . It would be a really nice addition to anybodies handbags !

What did you get for your mum last Christmas ? Who's your favourite person to buy for ? Let me know in the comments !

Stay Strong <3 Stay Smiley :)

Lots of love, Marianne xxx

  3. My mum lives across the country, so unfortunately I only sent her a card (shipping isn't in a student budget) However, I bought my step-mum a cookbook and this Christmas instead of a physical present, I bought a rock climbing day for us. Memories are more important than obejcts, in my opinion :)

    Great post!

  9. Marianne, I am so glad you are doing this little series, I always struggle to buy for my parents because they generally buy what they want/need as the year goes on. I love the indulgence set, that is such a great gift, especially since most people don't treat themselves to something that nice and my mom definitely could use some indulging! Love this idea! 1. Awww I know it can be a nightmare trying to find the perfect present for people who can generally afford to buy what they want when they want it ! I've actually bought that for my mum for our new bathroom when we move house next year :) I think mums more than most definitely deserve a bit of a pamper session !

  10. I don't even remember what I got my mom for last christmas :O haha but this year, I'm thinking of getting a small gift basket that I'll put together with things that I think she will enjoy. I actually find buying presents for my mom so hard! because she's not really direct about what she wants you know. Like I'll ask her and she'll just say that she doesn't really need anything, which just puts me back to square one haha. Loving these gift ideas :D
